Coarse Hairgrass – SCIRPUS CERNUUS
This fantastic looking evergreen plant has a very apt common name of Fibre Optic Plant. The spiky green foliage produced small white flower spikes on the tips of each leaf. Can be used in an aquarium or as a pond marginal oxygenator.
You will receive a small bunch (see picture) around 5cm and 10cm 2″ – 4″ high, with plenty leaves and strong root system. You will need to push the roots deep into your substrate (sand or gravel).

Elodea DENSA 5 Strands
FREE POSTAGE!
This is for a bunch of weighted 5 strands of Elodea Densa ideal for aquariums and ponds providing extra oxygen during daylight hours. It is a haven for live food for fish and perfect as a spawning medium. It is a submerged plant that grows to the surface, then spreads out making an attractive area.
The plant produces a pretty small white flower in the summer
The strands will about 6" (15cm) long and can be planted directly into the bottom of your pond or aquarium.
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE: The leaves often close up when out of water and they may look very flat in the packaging, but the leaves will open when in water. This plant is very variable in colour from black, brown to green. It just depends on how much light they had. The pieces you receive are from a long plant, normally the darker pieces are from the bottom area. They will change colour when you plant them depending on how much light and food is available
On receipt of the this plant, please put into water immediately. You can just drop them into your pond and they will establish themselves.
